Paper Rex reigns supreme, Pacific power rising with unstoppable force

Paper Rex (PRX) has finally broken through to claim their first international trophy by defeating Europe’s top seed Fnatic 3-1 at the VALORANT Masters Toronto finals held at the Enercare Centre. This victory continues the Pacific region’s impressive run, marking their third consecutive Masters title after Gen.G’s win in Shanghai and T1’s success in Bangkok earlier this year.

Seeded third out of the Pacific Stage 1, Paper Rex went on an absolute tear in the playoffs. They steamrolled through Team Heretics, Team Liquid, G2 Esports, Sentinels, and Wolves Esports—staying undefeated all the way to the Grand Final. Pure consistency. Unshakable resilience. Total dominance.

The championship series was an absolute nail-biter. PRX kicked things off strong, clutching the first map 13-11 with a massive eight-round streak to close it out. Fnatic fired back with a gritty 17-15 comeback to tie the series, but Paper Rex wasn’t done. They dominated Pearl 13-10 and wrapped it up in overtime on Lotus to claim the title. Shoutout to Jason “f0rsakeN” Susanto—his cracked Omen plays earned him a well-deserved MVP for carrying hard all tournament.

The team’s triumph earned them $350,000, while Fnatic and Wolves Esports took home $200,000 and $125,000 respectively. Paper Rex’s win solidifies the Pacific region’s growing dominance in the global VALORANT competitive scene.
