The legendary RRQ brand expands into women’s MLBB competition

One of Mobile Legends' most iconic brands just entered the women's scene. On May 1, RRQ officially unveiled RRQ Shira, its female MLBB division, which will compete in the North American region with one clear target: a spot at the MLBB Women's International at the Esports World Cup 2026 in Riyadh.

The roster features RYLAI in the EXP Lane, Nicholette as Jungler, Ying in the Gold Lane, JollyBee as Mage, Erica as Roamer and YQ as Substitute. Two names stand out immediately. RYLAI and Nicholette previously reached the MWI 2025 grand final with Gaimin Gladiators, making them among the most experienced players available in the female scene heading into this cycle.

The MLBB Women's International will be held as part of EWC 2026 and represents the only women's event at the Riyadh spectacle this year. The stakes for qualification could not be higher.

What makes this launch particularly compelling is the weight of the RRQ brand itself. The organization's male roster is a guaranteed viewership driver in Indonesia, featuring in three of the ten most-watched MLBB matches ever recorded. Their involvement in grand finals has pushed MPL Indonesia to its only two instances of peaking above 4 million concurrent viewers.

Bringing that audience power to women's MLBB could shift viewership benchmarks for the entire scene if RRQ Shira earns its place in Riyadh.
